Business Activity Restrictions Policy

As part of our commitment to ethical business practices, regulatory compliance, and risk management, we have established a set of business activities restrictions applicable to all our banking users.
These restrictions are designed in accordance with the US and international laws, including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations, and to promote the responsible use of our banking services.
This policy outlines the business activities that are prohibited or restricted for entities seeking to open or maintain banking relationships with Arival Bank International Corp. (the “Bank”). By using our services, customers agree to abide by this policy.

This policy applies to all current and prospective customers of the Bank and covers all services provided by the Bank as described in the Business Banking User Agreement.

The Bank does not provide services to customers engaging in any of the following types of activities:

▪ Bearer shares: Issuance or trade in bearer shares or bearer share warrants.
▪ Cash-intensive businesses: unregulated cash-intensive businesses where the source of funds cannot be adequately verified (e.g., unlicensed casinos, certain retail businesses, etc.).
▪ Counterfeit or unauthorized goods: sale, distribution, or production of counterfeit goods, pirated content, or unauthorized merchandise.
▪ Illegal financial services: unregistered provision of regulated financial services, including but not limited to unregistered money services businesses, unlicensed money transmitters, unregulated trading platforms, unregulated foreign exchange services, unlicensed securities or investment related activities
▪ Illicit drugs: trade or production of illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or businesses facilitating the production or distribution of controlled substances.
▪ Intellectual property rights infringement: businesses that infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. ▪ Payday loan and associated services: businesses offering payday loans, high-interest short-term loans, or any business associated with predatory lending practices.
▪ Ponzi, predatory, or multi-level marketing schemes: businesses promoting pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, predatory lending, or any deceptive investment programs.
▪ Shell companies: companies with no clear business purpose, no physical presence, or no verifiable economic activity.
▪ Unclear business definition: Companies that fail to provide a clear, transparent, and verifiable description of their business activities.
▪ Other illegal activities: any other activities that are illegal under applicable local, national or international laws, regulations, or directives, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, drug trafficking, human trafficking or exploitation.

Furthermore, please note that we do not support Client Funds related activities for businesses in Digital Assets, Digital Currency, Money Services Business and Payment Service Providers industries. If your business belong to one of these businesses, you are not allowed to use your account with the Bank to process money from clients i.e. you can’t hold, exchange, transfer, or manage client funds in a account with the Bank.
